As a Principal Data Engineer within our Enterprise Data and Analytics team, you’ll be at the forefront of a company-wide digital transformation. We’re looking for a forward-thinking engineer who brings deep technical expertise and a passion for building scalable, AI-ready data platforms. In this role, you’ll architect and implement modern data solutions that power intelligent applications, streamline operations, and deliver measurable business value. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design robust pipelines, integrate diverse data sources, and enable advanced analytics and generative AI capabilities. Primary responsibilities
Dans ce poste, les principales responsabilités incluront :
- Diriger des initiatives pour moderniser les systèmes de données hérités, en introduisant des architectures natives dans le cloud, en temps réel et basées sur les événements.
- Collaborer avec les équipes IA / ML pour concevoir des pipelines de données optimisés pour l'entraînement des modèles, l'inférence et l'apprentissage continu.
- Développer et appliquer des normes de codage, des directives de modélisation des données et des modèles de conception de pipelines au sein des équipes d'ingénierie.
- Concevoir, développer et maintenir des pipelines de données évolutifs et des processus ETL en utilisant Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks et d'autres services Azure.
- Mettre en œuvre et optimiser des solutions de stockage de données en utilisant Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database et Delta Lake pour soutenir les besoins en analyses et en rapports.
- Collaborer avec les scientifiques des données, les analystes et les parties prenantes de l'entreprise pour comprendre les besoins en données et fournir des ensembles de données fiables et de haute qualité.

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
