Schedule

The successful candidate will be available to work between the days of Monday - Sunday in 8 hour day shifts, primarily between 08:30 - 16:30. It is the responsibility of casual staff to provide reasonable availability to their department, inclusive of a minimum of two weekdays and two weekends within each 6-week period. Patient care

Working as an integral member of the inter-professional team, you will play a critical role in providing social work services to patients and their families within the organization, in the acute care setting, with the exception of in-patient mental health. There is a strong emphasis on psychosocial support, interdisciplinary problem solving, and liaising with appropriate members of the team to ensure patients and families are linked with necessary resources and supports. 48_Leadership Created with Sketch.

Leadership

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a high level of professional integrity and accountability and play a key role in system development, as well as possess a strong level of understanding of care across the continuum. Support
