The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a Service Manager to join our team in Surrey, BC . As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing the performance of the local Service department and team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Service Manager your key responsibilities will include :

• Manage the performance and development of the Service department staff, including driving accountability of the team members, staffing the department appropriately, and facilitating proper training
• Partner with the Human Resources department on labour related and sensitive personnel issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement by leading or supporting LEAN initiatives, improving the overall efficiency of the department
• Proactively manage the Service fleet as it relates to vehicle purchases, replacements, repairs and maintenance
• Conduct weekly toolbox meetings with the local Parts and Service teams
• Work in partnership with other Internal Business Units to develop and grow key customer accounts while generating new business and revenue streams
• Actively addresses customer service issues and customer disputes
• Closely manage Key Performance Indicators that relate to the Service department
• Strategically analyze financial statements, utilizing them as a tool to drive the profitability of the department
• Advocate and drive compliance on all corporate safety initiatives, policies, and programs

The base pay range for this role is : $90,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus.

This is an onsite role based in Surrey, BC .
