We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an HR Recruiter in the non-profit sector, based in Brampton, Ontario. This role involves supporting our recruitment efforts as we expand our programming supports.
Responsibilities :
- Full cycle recruitment process management.
- Preparing and updating job descriptions and vacancy postings.
- Drafting employment agreements.
- Administering salaries.
- Utilizing job boards for proactive candidate search and selection of appropriate job boards.
- Preparation and presentation of recruitment related reports.
- Communication related to recruitment activities.
- Involvement in organizational projects and initiatives from a recruitment perspective.
- Handling of ad hoc recruitment related tasks.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience as an HR Recruiter in the non-profit sector
- Proficiency in Full Cycle Recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
- Knowledge of labor legislation relevant to the non-profit sector
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Commitment to promoting diversity and equal employment opportunities
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel as needed for recruitment events and meetings
- Certification in Human Resources (such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
