We are looking for a Senior Recruiter - Canada in 6620 Kitimat Rd, Unit 2, Mississauga, ON L5N 2B8 CAN. Your mission will be to :
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager or other HR leadership, the Senior Recruiter executes sourcing and recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent across multiple provinces in Canada. This role requires expertise in Canadian hiring regulations, employment laws, and regional hiring nuances. The Senior Recruiter collaborates with HR leadership to determine and refine best practices for talent acquisition, ensuring compliance with all recruiting and hiring processes. Additionally, the position may support acquisitions, immigration, and relocation efforts in partnership with subject matter experts and HR leadership.
YOUR PROFILE
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, including talent acquisition strategy and execution in multiple Canadian provinces.
Strong understanding of Canadian employment laws and hiring practices.
Proven experience in sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates across various industries and levels in high volume roles.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to translate business strategy into targeted talent acquisition plans.
Strong project management skills in a fast paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Familiarity with Google for Business tools; experience recruiting in the US and Canada.
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
Experience working with staffing agencies and relocation vendors
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts across multiple provinces in Canada, ensuring compliance with regional hiring laws.
Act as a subject matter expert on employment and recruiting practices, advising hiring managers on best hiring strategies.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract a diverse and qualified candidate pipeline.
Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide market insights to drive effective hiring decisions.
Manage relocation processes for employees moving within or to Canada.
Support HR leadership in talent-related initiatives, including workforce planning, acquisitions, and employer branding.
Maintain and optimize the applicant tracking system, ensuring seamless hiring workflows and accurate reporting.
Track and analyze key recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of hiring processes.
Train and mentor hiring managers and internal recruiters on best hiring practices and compliance requirements.
Support recruitment events, job fairs, and networking initiatives to strengthen the employer brand.
Other related duties as assigned.
Communication
Regular communication with hiring managers, HR leadership, and business leaders to align hiring strategies with business objectives.
Collaboration with staffing agencies, relocation vendors, and recruitment technology providers.
Engagement with candidates throughout the hiring process to provide a positive candidate experience.

Travel
Moderate travel required for recruitment events, training sessions, and company meetings across Canada and the United States.
Compensation Range :
110,000 - 135,000 CAD
