Job Description:

Proactive & reactive security patrols
Majority of shift will be spent conducting exterior patrols
Response to incidents
Lock & Secure washrooms
Ensure no unauthorized individuals are on site after 22:00
Liaise with Paladin & the Marina Coordinator to ensure ongoing safety concerns/issues are resolved
Assist boaters as necessary
By-law parking enforcement
Report writing and note taking
Daily shift reports
Investigate routine incidents
Additional Duties as Assigned

Job Requirements:

Valid Security License for Ontario
Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
Must have G or G2 level driver's license (or equivalent)
Must have your own dedicated vehicle that is reliable and in good repair
Able to stand for up to 8-12 hours per shift
Able to complete extensive patrolling of site
English communication (oral and written) required
Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionPlease be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
Legally authorized to work in Canada

First Aid and CPR - Level C Certification
Valid Ontario Security License
