Job Description

Join our team as a Production Operator, where you will play a key role in the manufacturing of critical medical‑device components. In this position, you will operate production equipment, monitor processes, and perform visual inspections to ensure all products meet strict FDA‑regulated standards. This role involves rotating day, afternoon, and overnight shifts, with duties performed both seated and standing along the production line.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with standardized procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or abnormalities.
• Perform visual and manual inspections to ensure product quality.
• Handle and assemble small components with precision (similar in size to eyeglass screws).
• Complete required documentation accurately to meet FDA compliance standards.
• Follow all clean room protocols and maintain a safe, controlled work environment.
• Participate in shift rotation (days, afternoons, and nights) as scheduled.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience as an operator, in production, assembly, or general labor.
• Strong manual dexterity and visual acuity for working with small, delicate parts.
• Ability to stay focused and maintain attention to detail for extended periods.
• Comfortable following standardized processes and operating within regulated environments.
• Ability to complete detailed FDA documentation in English.
• Strong reliability, work ethic, and ability to work effectively in a team‑based production environment.

Additional Details

• 9‑month full‑time opportunity, strong potential to go permanent after contract
• Pay raise once fully trained as Operator
• 2‑2‑3 12‑hour shift rotation (7 AM–7 PM), alternating between days and nights every two weeks)

This is a Contract position based out of Gananoque, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
