Position : Personal Support Worker Instructor for Adult Continuing Education

Salary : Continuing Education Rate ($47.70 / hourly)

FTE : 1 Position Available

Effective : September 2 2025 June 26 2026

Summary :

Courses will be held in the above listed locations pending sufficient enrollment. Courses will be held Monday to Friday. Teachers are required to work as part of a team to guide and further develop the PSW program. Instructors are required to deliver in-class components of the Personal Support Worker program (330 hours) evaluate progress of students and create reports for students performance and challenges. Instructors are required to facilitate the co-op component of the Personal Support Worker program including supervising students in clinical environment (80 hours) and monitor students in the co-op environment (min 270 hours). There is potential for day and evening shifts.

Qualifications :

• Registered Nurse Holding current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Hold a current Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification (If no candidates with an OCT apply other RN candidates will be considered)
• Minimum of 3 years working in Health Care
• Qualifications with respect to specialized subjects will be required as per Ministry regulations
