Community Services and Supports, Regional Social Services (RSS) is seeking to fill two Regional Director positions. One for Winnipeg, MB, and one for Selkirk, MB. Please clearly state in your application your location preference.

Conditions of Employment :

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Must provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector search, Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check
• Must have a valid driver's licence, access to a vehicle and the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba on government business

Qualifications : ESSENTIALS :

Duties : As a member of the department’s management team, the Regional Director is responsible to lead and manage RSS service regions and provide advice and support to the Executive Director and Assistant Deputy Minister by providing service delivery-related data and trends to support strategic planning and policy development.

The RSS service regions are collectively responsible for direct service delivery of the full range of programs offered by the Department of Families, including, but not limited to income support programs (Employment and Income Assistance), and disability services (Community Living disABILITY Services, Children’s disABILITY Services, Autism & Early Intervention Supports). Services delivered by each region may offer a slightly different mix of those programs.
