Responsibilities :
- Lead the development and implementation of the organization’s strategic plan in alignment with the mission, vision, and values.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and the organization, ensuring transparent communication and effective governance.
- Oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of all programs and services to ensure they meet community needs and align with organizational goals.
- Foster innovation in service delivery, ensuring programs remain adaptive and impactful for individuals facing death, grief, and caregiving challenges.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors and funders, including government agencies and health organizations, to secure sustainable funding and diversify revenue streams.
Including the preparation and presentation of detailed reports to funders.
Act as the face of the organization, representing Palliative Manitoba in public forums, media, and with stakeholders at the local and provincial levels.
Qualifications :
- Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in a leadership or management role.
- Experience in non-profit and / or healthcare, and / or fund development are considered a strong asset.
