Operations Manager – Luxury Pre-Construction Communities

12-month Contract

Salary range $100,000 - $110,00 per year, plus bonus

Location: Markham, ON

Our customer, an awarding winning real estate developer / home builder is seeking a seasoned and highly polished Operations Manager with proven experience in luxury pre-construction home to lead administration operations and serve as the primary liaison between purchasers and our internal teams.

The Operations Manager will oversee the full sales lifecycle of our luxury communities, from launch through closing. This individual will act as the principal point of contact post-sale for purchaser inquiries, manage Tarion-related communications and extensions, and work closely with Construction, Customer Care, Marketing, and Development to ensure seamless and proactive communication.

The ideal candidate understands the expectations of a discerning clientele and is skilled at translating complex construction updates into clear, confident communication that reinforces trust in our customer’s brand.

Responsibilities

Luxury Sales Leadership

  • Collaborate sales strategy for high-end pre-construction communities.
  • Monitor market intelligence and provide strategic input on releases, pricing, and incentives.

Purchaser Relations & Brand Stewardship

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for purchaser inquiries from Agreement of Purchase and Sale through closing.
  • Deliver proactive, transparent communication regarding project milestones, timelines, and next steps.
  • Handle escalated concerns with diplomacy, discretion, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ensure the purchaser experience reflects Kylemore’s reputation for quality and service excellence.

Construction Liaison & Project Communication

  • Work closely with the Construction Department to maintain a detailed understanding of build progress, specifications, upgrades, site conditions, and scheduling.
  • Participate in regular internal meetings to stay informed of construction timelines and potential impacts on occupancy or closing.
  • Collaborate with Construction to identify required extensions and align on communication strategy prior to purchaser notification.
  • Translate technical construction updates into clear, accurate messaging for purchasers and prospective buyers.
  • Provide structured feedback from purchasers to Construction and Development teams to enhance product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Tarion & Regulatory Compliance

  • Oversee Tarion-related matters, including firm occupancy dates and closing extensions.
  • Prepare and issue Tarion extension notices in strict compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Construction, and Customer Care to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Maintain organized records and compliance tracking.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Finance and Legal to ensure agreements, amendments, and disclosures are properly administered.
  • Contribute to forecasting, reporting, and executive-level sales updates.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of direct experience in luxury pre-construction home sales.
  • Strong working knowledge of Tarion regulations, occupancy processes, and extension protocols.
  • Experience working collaboratively with Construction and Development teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage high-net-worth clientele.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
