Job Description
- The main requirements of the role are to;
- Provide technical and project management support through contract development, design construction and commissioning of the North End Sewage Treatment Plant (NEWPCC) major capital projects.
- Work on site and in the office with the Veolia and City of Winnipeg Team
- Assist the Program Team in the leadership, execution and delivery of various Major Capital Projects for the Winnipeg Sewage Treatment Program (WSTP).
- Manage and lead Veolia's role in the Capital Program Delivery for the WSTP.
- Provide support to the City Project Managers within the Winnipeg Sewage Treatment Program (WSTP). Be willing to take on an active role in the project management by reviewing documents and attending meetings. Work with the City Project Manager to plan ahead, identity upcoming issues, discuss multiple options, then actively take part in implementing the solution.
- Lead the risk management strategy for all three (3) major projects on the NEWPCC facility.
- Veolia and the City of Winnipeg entered in a 30-year Program Agreement in 2011. Part of Veolia's role is to provide support services during capital program delivery. The successful individual will be a part of a diverse team to assist in delivery of three (3) major projects worth approximately $3 billion dollars.

Site / office work environment with the ability to work remotely for up to two (2) days per week.
Possible Work Hazards
Must take care in moving or lifting office supplies. Exposure to industrial and construction plant hazards including excavations, noise, heavy equipment, fumes and chemicals.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
