Job description7+ years in engineering or manufacturing project management. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management (preferred). PMP certification strongly preferred. Proven experience structuring, recovering, and delivering complex projects. Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Project Online (server config, shared resources, baselines, auditing). Mastery of change control and risk management practices. Strong competency in scope definition, WBS, and critical path analysis. Familiarity with ERP (Syspro) and Power BI for decision support. Strong facilitation and executive communication skills. Rigorous ownership mindset with zero tolerance for weak PM practices. Ability to drive accountability and discipline across cross-functional teams.
This role ensures that all schedules are reliable, resourced, baselined, and continuously monitored. The Project Manager is expected to be a subject matter expert in Microsoft Project Online, proactively manage risks, and enforce strict change control. Projects involve mission-critical data center infrastructure such as STSs, PDUs, RPPs, transformers, and UPS systems. Flawless execution and zero tolerance for weak project management practices are expected.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Lead multiple concurrent projects from initiation to closure with full ownership
- Build, baseline, and audit project schedules in Microsoft Project Online, ensuring logical dependencies and clear critical paths
- Manage shared resources effectively, preventing over-allocation and balancing capacity vs. demand
- Define scope of work, WBS, and work packages with clear accountability
- Enforce strict Change Control with comprehensive documentation and executive approval tracking
- Implement proactive Risk Management, identifying, quantifying, and mitigating risks
- Provide weekly look-ahead schedules aligned to resource availability and status
