Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our evening shift team. This is a permanent, full-time position from Monday to Thursday, 1:00 to 11:30

What you’re responsible for:

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, adjustments, alignments, and servicing of various equipment, including:ConveyorGrinderShredderVibrating tableHydraulic systemPress
  • Diagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and failures.
  • Inspect for wear, repair, or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
  • Test repaired equipment to verify performance and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in troubleshooting to improve equipment efficiency and functionality.
  • Carry out installation and upgrades of new machines or equipment.
  • Complete work orders and follow up as necessary.
  • Ensure proper use and operation of company equipment.
  • Inform the immediate supervisor of any required actions, detected issues, or time overruns.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Work safely and in compliance with health & safety (SST) policies and company procedures.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • Strong experience in maintenance, repair, and adjustment of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, grinders, shredders, vibrating tables, hydraulic systems, and presses.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and failures, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Skilled in testing repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with standards.
  • Ability to collaborate on problem-solving to improve equipment efficiency and functionality.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, including workplace cleanliness, compliance with health & safety (SST) regulations, and safe work practices.

Additional Information

  • Permanent position, full-time
  • Evening schedule: Monday to Thursday, 1:00 to 11:30
  • Evening shift premium
  • Overtime after 40 hours
