Job description

Terrafix Geosynthetics, a division of Leggett & Platt, in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Tender Coordinator. The Tender Coordinator will be responsible for driving internal sales process execution by working closely with the Terrafix sales team to quote, track, and win projects.

Key activities of the Tender Coordinator include developing sales leads through bids and RFQs, identifying value engineering opportunities, setting bid strategy, and working closely with internal partners to ultimately close the job.

Responsibilities: Identify bid opportunities through proactive plan room searching and RFQs Perform and evaluate material takeoffs Work closely with Hanes Technical Sales Team to evaluate and propose value engineering opportunities Recommend intentional bid strategy Qualify products by reviewing specifications and providing submittals and certifications for our products to meet the project requirements Track project pipeline and manage CRM database to assist in pipeline forecasting, close rates, and competitive information to support current and future project development Lead sales team meetings to drive project sales process execution Partner with Field Sales, Inside Sales, and Technical Sales to quote, track, and close projects Requirements and Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree.

Engineering Certificate, diploma, an asset.

  • 2+ years of construction project management or project coordinator experience strongly preferred Estimating experience in Civil or environmental sectors an asset Must have a working knowledge of the construction industry Knowledge of how to interpret Tender Documents and read Civil CAD Drawings Exceptional organizational, time management, and communications skills Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure Proficient in Excel and Word CRM experience is a plus Terrafix Geosynthetics is a people-first organization dedicated to providing a complete benefits package for our employees and their families.
