In this role, you will report to the team manager and contribute to key projects focused on clarity, accuracy, and continuous improvement of documentation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure content meets industry standards and customer needs. This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Mississauga or Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and specifications for P&WC products' maintenance and overhaul manuals.

  • Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for various audiences.

  • Create and include technical illustrations, diagrams, and schematics to improve understanding of maintenance and overhaul procedures.

  • Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements, company guidelines, and safety standards.

  • Conduct usability testing and collect feedback from end-users to improve the quality and effectiveness of P&WC’s manuals.

  • Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy standards.

  • Deep understanding of gas turbine maintenance and overhaul.

  • Opportunities to work closely with diverse teams, such as engineering, manufacturing, customer support, and quality assurance.

  • Gaining a practical understanding of how your work impacts customers and end-users.

What do you need to be successful?

  • College degree in design and drafting or, AME certification.

  • Must be able to obtain CGD clearance in Canada.

  • Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Sound gas turbine engine knowledge.

  • Solid computer skills (MS Suite and 3D/2D CAD software).

  • Familiarity with SGML or XML writing is a plus.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

The salary range for this role is 78,000 CAD - 122,850 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. RTX offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, disability benefits, a retirement savings program, and tuition assistance through RTX’s Employee Scholar Program. Eligibility for specific benefits is based on factors such as position level, employment type (e.g., temporary or permanent), and business unit, and will be discussed during the hiring process.
