Job description

Are you an experienced Material Handler or Order Picker looking for an exciting opportunity in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia? We are currently hiring Material Handlers for our esteemed client, offering full-time roles with the potential for permanent placement.

Schedule : Morning Shift, Afternoon Shift, and Night Shifts

Pay : $17.75-$19 per hour

Schedule : Sunday 3 PM till 11 : 30 PM; Monday to Thursday 4 PM to 12 : 30 AM

Location : Dartmouth, NS

Responsibilities

  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock;
  • Recording location of inventory.
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Adhere and follow all Health and Safety regulations

Qualifications

  • experience operating a sit-down forklift or walkie rider
  • Experience with RF gun
  • Preferred 6 months experience as a shipper / receiver and / or Material Handler
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Steel toe / safety shoes required
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to complete a criminal background check
  • Great communication skills
