Our agriculture client is actively seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Bookkeeper to join their small, close-knit team. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for two interconnected entities (for-profit and non-profit)
  • Maintain accurate financial records and complete month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Process payroll
  • Assist with financial reporting and collaborate with external consultants
  • Support international transactions, including accruals and USD exposure
  • Assist with shipping and customs-related documentation as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support ongoing financial operations
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience, ideally within a small to mid-sized organization
  • Experience with Sage 300 or similar accounting/ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve and work independently
  • Must be located within a reasonable commuting distance of Simcoe (ideally within 30 minutes)
