Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role plays a critical part in driving technical excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across engineering and production functions. What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation $110,000+
  • Full‑time, permanent opportunity / Day shift – Monday to Friday
  • Opportunity to lead a skilled engineering team in a modern manufacturing environment
  • A collaborative organization that values Lean manufacturing, innovation, and professional development
What You’ll Do
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing day‑to‑day coaching, mentorship, and performance guidance to support PCBA and mechanical manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee engineering project execution end‑to‑end, ensuring documentation, tools, and programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with production and quality standards.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Product Management, and Quality to support manufacturing readiness, resolve technical issues, and ensure smooth production launches.
  • Drive continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives, setting and refining standards that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability across engineering and production.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight in hardware, programs, and documentation development while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, SOPs, and quality work instructions.
  • Contribute strategically to long‑term engineering and technology planning, evaluating new tools and technologies to support business growth and operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience leading or managing engineering teams within a manufacturing environment, with a strong coaching and people‑development mindset.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and the ability to translate them into practical, measurable improvements.
  • Proven ability to balance technical leadership with operational priorities, supporting both short‑term execution and long‑term strategy.
  • Highly effective communicator and collaborator, capable of aligning engineering, operations, quality, and leadership teams around shared objectives.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with solid problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, particularly in complex technical or production scenarios.
  • Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing floor environments; English proficiency required, with French considered an asset.
