Job descriptionPayroll Processing : Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and benefits. Ensure compliance with all payroll-related laws and regulations. Team Management : Supervise and train payroll staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching to team members. Data Management : Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information in the payroll system. Review and approve payroll-related reports and audits. Compliance and Reporting : Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax laws, as well as labor laws. Prepare and submit required payroll reports and filings, including tax documents. Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy. Implement new technologies or software solutions to streamline payroll operations. Employee Relations : Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits. Collaborate with HR to manage payroll-related aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding. Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist in payroll budgeting and forecasting, providing insights on payroll expenses. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset. Proven experience in ADP Workforce payroll system. Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with A / R, A / P or HR-related skills would be a benefit. Certification as a Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar credential is an asset. High School Diploma
