The Role GrizzlyTrek is seeking one Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician to join our valued client's team in Cochrane, Alberta.

This is a full time position maintaining a mixed fleet of mobile equipment, including forklifts, loaders, and highway tractors.

The work covers preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair across the fleet, with CVIP inspection and sign-off responsibility on highway units.

This is a shop based maintenance program in a safety-first environment, and the schedule includes nights and Saturdays.

What You'll Do Maintain a variety of mobile equipment, including forklifts, loaders, and highway tractors Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across a range of equipment Perform preventative maintenance on schedule Complete CVIP inspections and sign-offs Verify and document repairs Work safely and contribute to a safe workplace What You Bring Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician certification and a valid journeyman certificate CVIP sign-off accreditation Industrial or sawmill experience Experience with hydraulic systems and air conditioning systems Strong diagnostic skills using computer based systems Availability to work nights and Saturdays Preferred Qualifications Ability to work independently with little supervision Strong communication and interpersonal skills Problem solving and troubleshooting skills across a mixed equipment fleet Work Environment Shop based maintenance work on a mixed mobile equipment fleet Nights and Saturdays are part of the schedule Cochrane sits minutes from Calgary with quick access to the mountains What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications Opportunities for overtime based on operational requirements Life insurance: $100,000 employee / $10,000 spouse / $5,000 per child AD&D insurance with critical illness and cancer coverage Extended health care: drugs, hospital, hearing, orthotics, nursing Paramedical services: chiro, physio, massage, mental health (annual coverage) Vision care: glasses, contacts, laser surgery, and exams Dental care: 80% basic ($2,500), 50% major ($2,500), $2,500 ortho for children Travel insurance: up to $5,000,000 per incident (trips up to 90 days) Ongoing training and career development support Apply now at www.grizzlytrekgroup.com Free AI Resume Enhancement Tool | AI Job Assistance available Powered by JazzHR
