Position Description

As Marketing Coordinator you will be entrusted with helping to ensure marketing initiatives go off without a hitch.

Additionally, in this important role you will collaborate closely with senior management, sales, and communication departments towards the common goal of marketing our client’s value and offerings to customers new, existing and potential.

Your expertise and ideas will also be valued in global settings with the sales and marketing arm of the organization, joining peers and senior team members in sales and marketing gatherings to share ideas, align efforts, and move forward new and exciting projects.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Take ownership for reporting of marketing activities and initiatives
• Provide support to sales and marketing senior management
• Proactively monitor, and help to keep on-track, marketing projects
• Assisting in sales training development programs
• Assisting in the organization and hosting of sales and marketing events, both internal and external
• Collaborate with senior management and sales teams to research and procure promotional items
• Other duties as assigned

Experience

Prior marketing experience required

Qualifications

• Able to travel, both domestically and internationally. A valid passport with no travel restrictions is required at all times
• Sound understanding of strategic marketing, B2B marketing and lead generation tactics
• Advanced understanding of MS Excel and familiar with MS Office Suite of Products
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Education

Post-secondary degree in business or marketing is ideal, but not necessarily required.
