Job descriptionPension Program with Sutherland Group matching contributions up to 100%, starting at 3%, increasing in graduated increments and topping out at 5% after 8 years. Entry level program for new drivers Conduct pre and post trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuring safety, road worthiness and regulatory compliance. Load and unload wood residual fibre products in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure safe transportation of freight by securing goods while loading and unloading. Tarp vehicle using manual or auto tarps as available. Chain-up vehicle based on road conditions. Complete all electronic records regarding working hours, vehicle status and maintenance records using the industry's best fleet management system, ISAAC. Ensure trucks are left clean and safe at the end of each shift. Class 1 Driver's Licence Willingness to do rotational shift work 2 years of trucking experience preferred Mountain driving and Super-B experience preferred Acceptable commercial driver's abstract, based on Sutco's abstract review policy Ability to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing

We are looking for a Class 1 Truck driver to join the Sutco Transportation team in Vernon BC. POSITION BENEFITS
- Driver rates : Super Bs : $31.96 / hour and Quads : $30.93 / hour (before bonuses and other incentives)
- Reliable year-round, Monday to Friday work that gets you home every day
- 24-hour dispatch team
- Overtime pay after 60 hours
