What is the opportunity?

The Associate Managing Director, RBC PH&N Investment Counsel (RBC PH&NIC), is a key member of the professional leadership team charged with building and managing a high‑performance wealth and investment counselling firm. You will support the Managing Director in achieving business results through sales and market leadership within the BC region, and through implementing strategic direction and representation in the marketplace.

What will you do?

• Hire new investment counsellors to achieve growth targets.
• Manage and lead direct reports, providing direction, development, coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution strategies.
• Conduct the annual business planning process, establish objectives, develop and execute strategic initiatives, and monitor progress.
• Ensure audit, risk management, and compliance standards are followed by front office staff.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant laws and business trends.
• Promote RBC’s corporate objectives, vision, and values.
• Build a cohesive, inclusive working environment.
• Raise and maintain RBC PH&NIC’s corporate profile in the community through active involvement.

What’s in it for you?

The expected salary range for the position is $100,000 - $155,000, with potential discretionary / variable incentive payments. Compensation will be determined by experience, registration status, performance, and business needs.
