Position Overview :
We are looking for a highly organized Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods, all while upholding company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and long-term agreements, secure competitive pricing, and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Build and nurture positive relationships with suppliers, facilitating smooth communication and prompt issue resolution.
- Analyze procurement costs and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Conduct regular market testing of key procurement items and track cost savings and cost avoidance.
- Oversee the accuracy of invoicing and ensure proper entry of bills into the system.
- Ensure all purchased materials and services meet quality standards and align with specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Organize and maintain manuals, documentation, and historical purchase records for future reference.
- Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to make well-informed purchasing decisions.
