BramCal Production Inc is a manufacturer of quality commercial and residential roofing packaging products and part of the IKO Group of Companies. We presently have a full-time opportunity for a Dual Qualified Electrical Millwright join our team based in Barrie Ontario.

The main objective of the role is to maximize plant performance through troubleshooting repair and upgrade of electrical and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install examine replace or repair electrical wiring receptacles switch boxes conduits lighting fixturesand other electrical components such as switches relays circuit breakers drives motors and fuse disconnects
• Troubleshoot repair and maintain industrial electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Work with computers AC / DC drives HMIs and PLCs
• Read and interpret Electrical drawings blueprints schematics and electrical code specifications
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
• Maintain spare parts inventory
• Plan and oversee testing and calibration of electrical and electronic equipment and tools on a scheduled basis
• Work closely with Operations personnel
• Comply with internal and corporate policies procedures and regulations with respect to Health & Safety
• Respond on call
