We’re looking for a heavy vehicle mechanic to join our team in the Laurentians region, in Sainte-Adèle

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Repair and maintain school buses
  • Perform road tests
  • Complete mechanical maintenance reports and work orders
  • Carry out paint and finishing repairs
  • Follow the preventive maintenance program (PEP)
  • Manage parts inventory and warranty tracking
  • Organize the workshop and research technical documentation
  • Install radio, camera, and GPS equipment on new vehicles
  • Diagnose mechanical issues
  • Keep work areas clean
  • Perform any other related tasks

SALARY

  • Starting at $./hour, based on experience

Requirements

  • DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics or relevant experience;
  • Knowledge of diesel mechanics
  • Knowledge of Cummins, Allison, Wabco and Outlook software;
  • Knowledge of hydraulic brakes;
  • Knowledge of transmission and engine diagnostics (an asset);
  • Possession of PEP card;
  • Valid Canadian work permit;
  • Valid Class 5 license.
