You will be instrumental in supporting warehouse management and ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards while utilizing your heavy equipment operation expertise. Pay: From CA$23.90 per hour

Responsibilities:

Safely operate various types of forklifts including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, pallet jacks, and load & unload heavy materials with precision.
Conduct thorough inspections of forklifts and heavy equipment to ensure proper mechanical function and perform basic repairs as needed.
Manage materials handling tasks such as order picking, shipping & receiving, and load securing to facilitate efficient warehouse distribution.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update order statuses, and maintain accurate records of all operations.
Support warehouse supervisor in maintaining safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards by enforcing proper lifting techniques and safe equipment operation.

Qualifications:

Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Los, or similar heavy equipment within a warehouse or distribution setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation.
Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, loading & unloading shipments, and extended periods of standing or walking.
Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy.
Forklift License Required.
