Job descriptionValid Class 1 Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Minimum 2 years of long-haul experience as an owner-operator (preferred). Proven ability to manage operating costs, including fuel, maintenance, and insurance. Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. (if applicable) transportation regulations. Own a reliable, well-maintained tractor that meets all safety and compliance standards. Professional attitude, excellent time-management skills, and strong communication abilities. Job Summary :
We are looking for experienced and professional Class 1 Owner-Operators to join our team. As an independent contractor, you will provide reliable and efficient long-haul transportation services while maintaining your own vehicle. We offer consistent loads, competitive compensation, and exceptional support to help maximize your earning potential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Transport freight across long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
- Safely load and unload goods, ensuring cargo is properly secured and complies with legal weight limits.
- Plan and optimize routes to meet delivery deadlines while minimizing fuel and maintenance costs.
- Maintain your vehicle in compliance with safety and mechanical standards, including regular inspections and repairs.
- Adhere to all applicable transportation laws, Hours of Service (HOS) regulations, and company policies.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including logbooks, bills of lading, customs paperwork, and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
