Forbes Bros Ltd. is seeking an experienced full time, permanent Equipment Operator to support our project in B.C., Canada. The m ajority of the work will be taking place in BC throughout the lower mainland area and southern interior.
Taking direction from the foreman or lead hand, this position is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of equipment and daily maintenance checks. The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. The majority of the work will involve operating a backhoe, however, other equipment that may be used includes :
- Backhoe
- Loaders
- Skid Steer with variety of attachments
- Mini excavators
- Forklift
- And other pieces of equipment.

Class 1 or Class 3 license with air brakes is requiredOperators certificate from a licensed service provider3 to 5 years' experience operating equipmentThere is a requirement to travel to various project throughout Western Canada. Typical shift structure is 21 days on and 7 days off but can change based on specific project demands.Able and willing to present a Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with air brakes Driver's License and an acceptable drivers abstractWhat We Offer :
