Job Summary:

The Podologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various foot and nail conditions, providing preventative care, and offering therapeutic treatments tailored to each patient’s needs. This role requires attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to promoting overall foot health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat common foot and nail conditions (e.g., calluses, corns, fungal infections, ingrown toenails, cracked heels).
  • Provide diabetic foot care and wound management.
  • Educate patients on foot hygiene and preventative care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Certified and licensed Podiatrist (in accordance with local/regional regulations).
  • [1-2] years of experience in clinical podoatrist preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical foot care techniques and tools.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Description du poste:

Le/la podologue aura pour mission de diagnostiquer et traiter diverses affections du pied et de l’ongle, de proposer des soins préventifs et de dispenser des traitements personnalisés. Ce poste requiert un grand sens de l’écoute, de la précision, et une volonté constante de promouvoir la santé podalogie.

Missions principales:

  • Évaluer, diagnostiquer et traiter les affections courantes du pied (cors, durillons, mycoses, ongles incarnés, crevasses, etc.).
  • Assurer les soins de pédicurie médicale, notamment chez les patients diabétiques.
  • Conseiller les patients sur les bonnes pratiques d’hygiène et de prévention.
  • Rédiger et mettre à jour les dossiers patients.
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les autres professionnels de santé.
  • Respecter les normes d’hygiène et les protocoles en vigueur.

Profil recherché:

  • Diplôme d’État de podologie/pédicurie reconnu.
  • Expérience en cabinet ou milieu hospitalier (souhaitée mais non obligatoire).
  • Excellente maîtrise des techniques de soins podologiques.
  • Qualités humaines, rigueur, sens de l’organisation.
  • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et en équipe.
