Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

Bradford, ON Canada

Looking for a role in the retirement home industry where you’re valued and can make a difference in the lives of seniors? Join us and be part of something meaningful!

Available Openings : RPN Retirement

PT 7am - 3pm (30 hrs biweekly)
FT 3pm - 11pm (75 hrs biweekly)

RPN TCU

PT 7am - 3pm (30 hrs biweekly)

PT 3pm - 11pm (30 hrs biweekly)

FT 11pm - 7am (75 hrs biweekly)

PT 11pm - 7am (30 hrs biweekly)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provide nursing care in line with policies, standards, and physicians’ orders

Supervise nursing staff and care services

Develop and maintain resident care plans and accurate clinical records

Administer and manage medications safely and accurately

Promote resident independence, safety, and a positive environment

Support the Director of Care in training, staff evaluation, and infection control

Uphold confidentiality, resident rights, and organizational values

Participate in health and safety, fire drills, and departmental committees

QUALIFICATIONS :

Current RPN certification from the provincial College of Nurses

Strong leadership, nursing knowledge, and health care expertise

Empathy, patience, and strong physical and mental health

Additional Requirements :

Commitment to continued learning and maintaining competency

Flexible with other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL / WORKING CONDITIONS :

Standing / walking for prolonged periods, occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.)

Exposure to resident care needs and stress-related situations

Compliance with safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment
