Your Role as aCivil Engineer – Mining:

Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. As a Civil Engineer, your role will include:

  • Managing and executing engineering projects from concept through to completion, including contract administration, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Working directly with other engineers, architects and technologists as part of an integrated multi- disciplinary team.
  • Applying fundamentals and engineering tools to design civil infrastructure, including, but not limited to site development, access and haul roads, pipelines, water management and drainage infrastructure, and buried water and sewage infrastructure.
  • Assisting project managers, engineers, and technologists with project execution during all project phases.
  • Participating in the preparation of proposals and engineering budgets.
  • Guiding, mentoring, and supporting junior staff within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
