Job description

Area of Interest : Administrative support and coordination

A career as an Account Manager in Service Delivery at National Bank involves working collaboratively with colleagues and partners. This role focuses on process optimization, performing various activities, and supporting portfolio managers.

National Bank Independent Network (NBIN) is the preferred choice for portfolio managers (PMs), serving as a broker for introducing brokers (IBs) seeking administrative brokerage support. NBIN offers trading and custody services to PMs and acts as a broker for IBs registered with IIROC across Canada. Building strong client relationships is key to our success.

Your Role :

  • Understand the structure, procedures, and systems used by NBIN and its support sectors.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships by coordinating efforts with various internal services and divisions of NBIN and National Bank.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service by keeping clients informed of new developments, products, and services relevant to their needs.
  • Promptly and thoroughly resolve client issues and suggest policy and procedure improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Act as a liaison with operational sectors of NBIN to ensure tasks are completed proactively and timely.
  • Organize regular meetings with clients, document ongoing operational and service issues, investigate, track, and resolve them.
  • Advise clients on NBIN policies, procedures, and training that impact their firms.
  • Recommend process improvements to strengthen business relationships with clients.
  • Represent NBIN professionally at client meetings and industry events.

Prerequisites :

  • University degree with at least two years of experience in a brokerage or service role
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is a plus
  • Knowledge of industry regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, positive attitude, capable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Languages :

    Reason for language requirement : to serve clients who speak languages other than French regularly.
