Role Description:
· Develop and modify technical drawings for telecom network projects, including site plans, schematics, construction details, and installation layouts.
· Prepare complete construction documentation packages required for implementation and field execution.
· Draft installation packages for 5G upgrades, rooftop designs, tower modifications, and related telecom infrastructure work.
· Prepare structural detailing drawings, including foundation details, tower reinforcing, and related civil/structural components.
· Collaborate with engineers, project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure designs meet project specifications and client requirements.
· Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, constructability, and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
· Maintain accurate drawing records, revisions, documentation logs, and project-related information.
Essential Skills:
· 6-8 years of experience in a civil drafting, structural drafting, or telecom infrastructure drafting role.
· Professional Engineering designation or eligibility/registration with the Ordre des ingnieurs du Quebec (OIQ) is required.
· French language proficiency is mandatory, including both written and verbal communication.
· Strong experience preparing telecom construction drawings and installation packages.
· Solid understanding of civil/structural drafting practices, telecom site layouts, rooftop installations, tower reinforcement, and foundation detailing.
