Toronto based Mechanical Company is looking for Industrial, Commercial and Institutional HVAC Technicians to join our growing team.
We are seeking full-time HVAC Technicians whose key roles will involve the Installation, Commissioning, Repair and Maintenance of HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment and Systems.
Candidates must possess a comprehensive knowledge of the installation and operation of various types of mechanical equipment including, but not limited to :
- Heat / Cool Package Rooftop Units
- Make Up Air Systems
- Boilers
- Chillers
- Cooling Towers
- Pumps
- Unit Heaters and Radiant Heaters
- Air Curtains
- Humidification Systems
- Exhaust Fans
- Pressurization Fans
- Ductless Heat Pumps
- Water Source Heat Pumps
- In floor Radiant Systems
- VRF Systems (installation experience considered an asset)
Responsibilities :
This role requires you to critically think and adapt in fast paced environments. You must complete every call you attend in an efficient, professional and safe customer service-oriented manner. You will routinely work both independently and as part of a team. You are expected to have a breadth of knowledge in applicable HVAC / R Codes, Standards, and Regulations as well as working knowledge and skill of related tools, equipment, materials and practices of the trade.
Qualifications :
Certificate of Qualification (313A) with current Skilled Trades of Ontario Membership
Valid G2 Gas Fitter License minimum, G1 Gas Fitter License preferred
Current Ozone Depletion Prevention Certification
Valid Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform Certifications with significant experience in the field
Minimum 4-5 vears experience as a Journevperson
Valid Ontario Driver’s License (G) and insurable on our fleet insurance policy
Eligible to pass Security Clearance Verifications
