Position Title : HVAC Technician Status : Permanent, Full-Time Location : Kingston, ON Compensation : $35.26 Overview of Role Our client is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their Kingston team, who is open to on-going growth opportunities within the organization.

- Responsible for professionally servicing HVAC equipment, accessory items, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes
- To ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care, maintenance
- Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate
What You Bring to this Position :
- High School Diploma, minimum requirement
- Gas Technician II License, require ment
- Certificate of Qualification as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario D), required
- Must have valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card, required
- Must have a class G Driver’s License, required
- 3-5 years’ experience in service of Water Heaters and HVAC equipment, an asset
- Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position, i.e. occasional lifting of 15 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting / kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can be dusty and / or slippery
- Be willing and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to understand / learn new technologies (i.e. Electronics / electricity)
