About the Role
We are currently seeking applications from Apprentice Electricians interested in joining our established teams in Charlottetown, PEI!
As an Apprentice you will work alongside a Journeyman Electrician, taking direction and accomplishing the tasks assigned to you each day. You will learn how to:
- Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code and project specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
- Install PVC, EMT and galvanized steel conduit systems.
- Install, replace, and repair distribution equipment and electrical controls such as switchboards, panelboards, and disconnect switches.
- Work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
Education & Requirements
- High school diploma or grade 12 equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and vehicle.
- Willingness to travel within the Maritimes, compensation offered for travel related costs
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Pay Scale
$20 - $28 per hour depending on block level
