The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals and providing catering services. They ensure work areas are maintained in a safe and sanitary condition and assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to :

• Preparing food for residents;
• Ensuring resident satisfaction with meal service;
• Responding to resident or family concerns and taking appropriate action within decision-making authority or escalating to the Food Services Manager / Food and Beverage Manager;
• Performing set-up, serving, and tear-down at catering events;
• Communicating effectively with residents, family members, visitors, and volunteers in a courteous and professional manner, projecting a positive image, and focusing on customer service excellence.
