Ce poste convient parfaitement à un technicien pratique qui aime le travail sur le terrain, incluant le dépannage, l'installation et l'entretien, tout en offrant un service à la clientèle exceptionnel et une expertise technique de haut niveau.

Responsabilités:
  • Fournir des services d'entretien, de réparation, d'installation et de dépannage d'équipements de manutention de liquides et de systèmes de points de vente (POS).
  • Préparer les bons de travail, la documentation et les rapports selon les exigences de l'entreprise et des clients.
  • Gérer et maintenir l'inventaire des pièces de service dans le véhicule assigné.
  • Effectuer l'entretien préventif et s'assurer que les équipements fonctionnent conformément aux normes de sécurité et de qualité.
  • Coordonner les appels de service avec les clients et répondre aux exigences de garde.
  • Veiller à l'entretien adéquat des outils, des véhicules et de l'équipement de l'entreprise.
  • Respecter les politiques internes, les normes de sécurité et les exigences légales en vigueur.
  • Soutenir le directeur du service et l'équipe dans d'autres tâches connexes, au besoin.

Profil recherché:
  • Licence C valide du Québec (carte d'apprenti électricien) obligatoire.
  • Diplôme collégial en électronique, en mécanique ou dans un domaine technique connexe (ou expérience équivalente).
  • La certification de mécanicien d'équipement pétrolier (PMH et PM1) constitue un atout.
  • Excellente aptitude pour les systèmes mécaniques, électriques et informatiques.
  • Expérience pratique avec les équipements de manutention pétrolière, incluant les débitmètres, pompes, valves, électroniques ATVC et applications sans fil.
  • Expérience avec les distributeurs et systèmes de jaugeage électronique considérée comme un atout
  • Dossier de conduite exemplaire et permis de conduire valide.
  • Excellentes habiletés en communication, en organisation et en gestion du temps.
  • Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et à gérer efficacement plusieurs priorités.
  • Approche orientée client et solides compétences en résolution de problèmes.

MacDonald Search Group has partnered with a national leader in petroleum equipment and technology solutions to recruit a Field Service Technician to join their growing service team in Montreal. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance work in the field, while delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise.

What you'll be working on:
  • Provide service, repair, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of liquid handling equipment and POS systems.
  • Prepare work orders, documentation, and reports according to company and customer requirements.
  • Maintain and manage service parts inventory within the assigned service vehicle.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure equipment operates according to safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with customers to schedule service calls and meet on-call requirements.
  • Ensure company tools, vehicles, and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Comply with company policies, safety standards, and legislative requirements.
  • Support the Service Manager and team with other duties as required.

What we're looking for:
  • Valid Quebec "Licence C" (Apprentice Electrician Card) required.
  • College diploma in electronics, mechanics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certification as a Petroleum Equipment Mechanic (PMH & PM1) is an asset.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer system aptitude.
  • Hands-on experience with petroleum handling equipment, including flow meters, pumps, valves, ATVC electronics, and wireless applications.
  • Experience with dispensers and electronic gauging systems considered an asset.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
