We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Scarborough, Ontario, and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities :

• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Maintain accurate records for payroll, benefits, and vacation tracking, ensuring compliance.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews.
• Facilitate training programs and track completion of mandatory learning modules.
• Provide support for employee relations within a unionized environment, ensuring adherence to collective agreements.
• Assist with documentation and preparation for labour-related activities.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
• Update HR policies and generate reports to support data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate on projects aimed at enhancing HR systems and optimizing workflows.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for tracking, reporting, and analysis purposes.
• Minimum of 2 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Experience with HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now or Ceridian Dayforce.
• Familiarity with recruitment processes, benefits administration, and employee training.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and labour relations.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Positive and detail oriented attitude, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
