Job description
Adecco is hiring Picker/Packers for a full-time role in Debert, NS! If you love hands-on work, take pride in accuracy, and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.
As a Picker/Packer you'll be on the front lines of our operation-picking, packing, and preparing orders that keep the warehouse moving. Your attention to detail and efficiency will help ensure orders go out right and on time, every time. This is a role where your work truly makes a difference each day.
  • Pay Rate: $20.05/hour
  • Location: Debert, NS
  • Schedule: Full-time | Temporary
  • Shifts: Monday to Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Responsibilities:
  • Select customer orders using pick lists, RF scanners, or voice-picking systems
  • Accurately pick products by item number, description, and quantity
  • Stack, wrap, and label pallets or cartons according to company standards
  • Transport completed orders to staging or shipping areas
  • Inspect products for damage or quality issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
  • Meet productivity, accuracy, and attendance standards
  • Communicate shortages, damages, or errors to supervisors
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is considered an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move products as required
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Must be able to work a variable schedule, including shifts from Monday to Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
  • Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada.
