We are hiring a Financial Planning Analyst to support our team in Toronto. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting new projects, budgeting processes, and merger and acquisition activities. As a member of our finance team, you will provide financial technical support for various reporting to the management team, variance analysis, account reconciliation, with an aim to drive improved efficiency and support our business partners.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business cases, growth initiatives, and project feasibility assessments.
- Assist in the preparation and management of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, including monitoring adherence and providing regular updates.
- Analyze financial data, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights to support decision-making across departments.
- Prepare account analyses and reconciliations for month-end closing activities.
- Extract, organize, and report financial data for standard and ad-hoc requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the Finance team in researching and documenting technical accounting matters as needed.
