Financial Analyst

Job Title :  Financial Analyst.

Location :   Downtown Toronto.

18-month contract.

Our client in the health care industry is currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join their Finance team.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the Manager of Accounts Payable to lead transformation initiatives, as well as digitization and automation efforts, from assessment through to implementation.
• Address multiple priorities and requests from Finance Leadership and Senior Analysts, supporting : Month-end account analysis and reconciliation Expense management and process improvement initiatives
• Undertake additional accounting or accounts payable-related projects as assigned.
• Build strong working relationships across the Finance team and the broader organization to analyze internal and external factors affecting Finance deliverables.
• Identify, document, and communicate automation opportunities by working closely with accounts payable staff, the Information Management System department, external consultants, and through independent research.
• Support the Manager in developing, planning, and executing presentation meetings and roadshows, which include compiling opportunities, reporting on progress, preparing and distributing presentation materials, and following up on action items.
• Create and maintain systems that streamline and enhance workflow for the portfolio.
• Complete other duties as assigned in relation to the position.
