THE ROLE :

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to support complex reporting cycles within a fast‑paced O& G environment. This onsite Calgary role requires strong IFRS knowledge, excellent analytical capability, and confidence handling high‑volume consolidation and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support year‑end reporting activities and deliver accurate IFRS financial packages
• Prepare private IFRS and internal financial reporting for leadership and global stakeholders
• Complete month‑end, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including multi‑entity consolidation
• Prepare and review financial statements, including variance analysis, reconciliations, and multi‑currency / FX reviews
• Compile and submit reporting packages for global finance teams
• Research and resolve complex accounting issues, applying advanced IFRS technical knowledge

ABOUT YOU :

You are a technically strong CPA with a depth of experience in oil & gas financial reporting. You operate independently, think critically, and approach complex accounting challenges with confidence. You’re proactive, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing high‑volume reporting within tight deadlines. Your communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively across functions, and you are comfortable researching IFRS topics as needed.
