We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Montreal and who will share our Company values.

What You’ll Be Contributing

Assist in the monthly consolidation of Hypertec Group entities, including foreign currency translation and intercompany eliminations;

Build, maintain, and improve financial models and templates using Vena Solutions and other financial tools to support budgeting and forecasting;

Perform financial analyses as part of internal and external reporting packages (MD&A, quarterly stakeholder reports), including variance analysis, trend analysis, and other key performance insights;

Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations;

Extract, transform, and interpret financial data from multiple systems (SAP, Vena, etc.) to create meaningful insights for decision-making;

Support the external audit process, including the preparation of annual financial statements and necessary supporting documentation;

Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting, leveraging financial systems and other automation tools;

Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses as required to support business objectives.

What Sets You Apart

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with a CPA designation (or in process of obtaining);

3 to 4 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis;

Strong understanding of financial consolidation in a multi-entity environment, including foreign exchange translation;

Proficiency in accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE preferred) or IFRS;

Experience with financial reporting and consolidation systems (e.g., Vena, Adaptive Insights) is an asset;

Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis;

Strong knowledge of ERP systems; knowledge of SAP Business One an asset;

Experience with Power BI is an asset;

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail;

Must be able to address multiple issues in a high-paced, rapidly changing environment, requiring effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines;

Ability to work independently and proactively improve processes.
