About This Role
In this role, the Financial Analyst will be responsible to :
- Assist the financial analysts' team in several areas (all steps of monthly closing, preparation of various monthly and quarterly financial reports, etc.)
- Verify and analyze monthly figures
- Work closely with management
- Participate in the annual budget and forecasting processes
- Participate in different special projects and ad hoc analyses
Qualifications
- University degree in accounting or finance.
- Recognized accounting certification (CMA, CA, CGA).
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of previous financial analyst responsibilities, such as financial reporting and analyzing financial performance.
- Capable of working on projects with little guidance.
- Consolidation experience.
- Creative mind / able to think outside of the box.
- Good analytical and technical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and actions to people at all levels of the organization.
- Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Hyperion Enterprise and Oracle systems, an asset.
- Fluency in English and French
