Financial Analyst

We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst for our Montreal branch.

GardaWorld Cash is looking for a Financial Analyst for its head office located in Montreal.

Your responsibilities

  • Participate in the process of closing accounting periods, including the posting of month-end entries and the preparation of monthly financial reports, while being directly involved in the analysis and interpretation of results.
  • Perform recurring account reconciliations
  • Help manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable
  • Support the finance function in various continuous improvement projects and in the implementation of new business processes
  • Support operations by performing various value-added analyses, and collaborate with various internal departments on accounting and finance-related topics
  • Carry out any other related tasks linked to the responsibilities described above

Your profile

  • University degree in accounting
  • CPA designation an asset
  • 1 to 2 years' relevant experience
  • Excellent command of French and English (oral and written)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Good analytical skills and ability to think critically about financial information
  • Autonomous, methodical and rigorous with regard to the completeness and reliability of the financial information produced
  • Proactive attitude towards information gathering and business process improvement
  • Business acumen, good priority management and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
