Introduction

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un représentant du service en chantier pour rejoindre notre équipe de service en chantier. Vous serez responsable de la coordination / planification et de l'exécution / supervision des activités liées à la réparation, à l'entretien et à l'installation de l'équipement de traitement minier. Votre rôle joue un rôle crucial dans les travaux d'entretien ainsi que dans la connaissance de l'équipement minier. À ce poste, vous vous rapporterez au directeur du service en chantier.

Ce poste est principalement situé à Sudbury, North Bay, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Prince George, Colombie-Britannique, mais nous sommes heureux de proposer des modalités de travail flexibles, y compris des options hybrides. Cependant, il implique jusqu'à 80 % de déplacements sur les sites des clients.

What You’ll Do

• Prior to arrival at a field assignment, study, plan, and prepare for field work based on the detailed scope of work, drawings, company procedures, specific instructions, etc.
• Work in liaison with the various technical support staff within Metso’s organization.
• Provide advisory services during installation, checkout, start-up, and commissioning.
• Coordinate field activity with the customer and / or the customer’s contractor(s).
• Assist the customer in executing the work to maintain the field schedule.
• Advise mill or contractor's crew in safely performing maintenance, repairs, and upgrade work.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems and assist with corrective action and repairs.
• Recommend operating and maintenance procedures to insure proper function of equipment.
• Train customer staff in proper methods to maintain and repair the equipment.
• Write field reports for submission to the customer and internal departments outlining problems encountered, action(s) taken, and future recommendations.
• When appropriate, make recommendations to improve field methods and / or efficiency.
• Submit expense statements according to Metso's travel policies and procedures.
• Carry out other service-related tasks as a member of Metso's Service Group as may be requested by the Field Service Manager.
• Travel (both domestic and international) may be required as needed.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties and / or other special projects as required.
