Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Senior Identity Management Specialist to support a large-scale enterprise identity and cybersecurity initiative.
This role is ideal for an experienced IAM professional with deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) , hybrid identity architecture, authentication technologies, privileged access management, and cloud security. You will play a key role in designing and implementing modern identity solutions that enhance security, streamline access management, and support enterprise-wide digital transformation.

  • Pay Rate: $120 - $130/hour for independent contractors

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Configure and manage Conditional Access Policies, RBAC, Identity Governance, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
  • Implement secure authentication technologies including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP, and Kerberos
  • Support hybrid identity environments integrating Active Directory and cloud-based identity services
  • Design and maintain multi-factor authentication (MFA) and risk-based access controls
  • Develop integrations using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and identity provisioning solutions
  • Support Azure services including Key Vault, Managed Identities, and RBAC
  • Build and integrate identity capabilities into CI/CD environments
  • Create technical documentation, standards, and implementation procedures
  • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable IAM solutions
  • Support ongoing identity security, governance, and automation initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or related technology roles
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Experience with:
    • Conditional Access
    • PIM and JIT access
    • Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)
    • MFA implementation
    • Hybrid Active Directory environments
    • Azure services including RBAC and Managed Identities
    • Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms
    • REST APIs and Microsoft Graph API
  • Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust security principles
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with certificate lifecycle management
  • Public sector, government, or large enterprise experience
  • Experience with enterprise-scale cybersecurity and identity programs
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
